LIMITED WARRANTY

The Harman Specialty Group offers the following warranty on
this product:

A valid serial number is required for warranty coverage. This
warranty protects the original retail purchaser for a period of
five (5) years (parts and labor) from any failure as a result of
original manufacturing defects so long as:

1.

The product was purchased within the 50 United States,
its territories, or Canada.

2.

The dealer from whom the this product was purchased
was authorized to sell such products at the time of the
original purchase.

3.

The original, dated Bill of Sale is presented whenever
service is required during the warranty period.

The balance of this warranty is transferable only if the used
product is purchased from an authorized Lexicon dealer. This
warranty is only valid for service within the United States, its
territories, and Canada and does not apply to products
purchased elsewhere. Outside of the United States, its
territories, and Canada, please contact an authorized Lexicon
dealer for warranty and service information.

Any Lexicon product not performing satisfactorily may be
returned to the factory for evaluation. Return authorization
must first be obtained by either calling or writing Customer
Service before shipping the product. The customer is
responsible for shipping charges to the factory. Customer
Service will pay return shipping charges within the United
States only in the event that the product is found to be
defective as mentioned above. There are other stipulations
that may apply to shipping charges.

There is no other express warranty on this product. Neither
this warranty nor any other warranty, express or implied,
including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness,
shall extend beyond the warranty period. No responsibility is

assumed for any incidental or consequential damages. Some
states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts and other states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so that the
above exclusion or limitation may not apply.

Except as specified below, the Lexicon warranty covers all
defects in material and workmanship. The following are not
covered:

Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, product
modification or neglect; damage occurring during shipment;
damage from failure to follow instructions contained in the
instruction manual; damage resulting from the performance
of repairs by someone not authorized by Lexicon; damage
caused by installation of parts that do not conform to
Lexicon specifications; units used for other than home use;
units not used for their intended purpose; any claims based
on misrepresentations by the seller; products sold on an “as-
is” or final sale basis; or the cost of installing, removing, or
reinstalling the unit. Lexicon’s liability is limited to the repair
or replacement, at our option, of any defective product and
shall not include incidental or consequential damages.
Lexicon reserves the right to replace a discontinued model
with a comparable model. Any replacement units or parts
may be new or rebuilt.

NOTE: Repair of our product must be done by an authorized
dealer or service center. Unauthorized repair will void the
warranty and is done at the risk of the consumer.

This warranty provides specific legal rights. Other states may
provide additional rights. This warranty is applicable in the
United States, its territories, and Canada. Outside of the
United States, its territories, and Canada, please contact an
authorized Lexicon distributor for warranty and service
information.

Obtaining Service

We take great pride in selling Lexicon products through a
network of well-trained dealers who are dedicated to
customer satisfaction. These professionals are ideally suited to
design, install, and, if the need arises, facilitate the service of
high-performance electronic home entertainment systems.

Customer Service assists authorized Lexicon dealers in solving
problems effectively. When purchasing Lexicon  products,
customers make a substantial investment in audio/video
equipment of exceptional quality. In the event that service is
needed, Customer Service intends to provide assistance that
matches that investment.

If this Lexicon product requires service, contact an authorized
Lexicon dealer for assistance. The dealer will contact
Customer Service to determine the best way to rectify the
situation and, if needed, to obtain return authorization in the
event that the product must be returned to the factory for
repair. Alternatively, customers may contact Customer
Service directly to obtain return authorization. However,
return authorization must be obtained before any product is
shipped to the factory. Products returned without prior
authorization will be refused.

When obtaining return authorization, please be prepared to
provide the model, serial number, and a complete, explicit
description of the problem. A copy of the original, dated Bill
of Sale must be included to confirm warranty status.

Please always retain the original packing materials. This
product must be properly packaged (in its original packing
materials whenever possible). Improper packaging can lead
to unnecessary freight damage that is not covered by either
the freight carrier or the warranty. The proper return
authorization must be on the outer carton for  easy
identification.
