Locking/ unlocking the wheelchair
The VR2 control system can be locked to prevent unauthorized use. The locking
method is via a sequence of key presses and joystick movements, as detailed
below:
To lock the wheelchair:
While the control system is switched on, depress and hold the on/off
button.
After 1 second the control will beep. Now release the on/off button.
Deflect the joystick forwards until the control system beeps.
Deflect the joystick in reverse until the control system beeps.
Release the joystick, there will be a long beep.
The wheelchair is now locked.
To unlock the wheelchair:
Use the on/off button to switch the control system on. The speed indicator
will be rippling up and down.
Deflect the joystick forwards until the control system beeps.
Deflect the joystick in reverse until the control system beeps.
Release the joystick, there will be a long beep.
The wheelchair is now unlocked.
If you choosed the option light for
your chair, the keypad looks like it’s
shown on the left.
To activate the light, press the light-
button, you switch on the two front
and the two rear lights on your chair
with this.
To notify that you like to turn to the
left, press the left indicator-button, to
announce that you like to turn to the
right, press the right indicator-button.
If you have a breakdown or you
would like to call attention to you,
you can activate all indicators at the
same time with the warning-lights-
button.
