DESCRIPTION
The Telephone Patching Expansion Board is designed to fit easily into Leviton’s Pre-Configured
Structured Cabling Panels. Working in conjunction with the Category 5e Voice and Data Module, the
Telephone Distribution Module, and other Structured Media™ Modules, this product expands the four-line
T568A telephone distribution system to seven additional locations. Consists of one 110 D4 connector bridged
to seven 8P8C connectors and mounted on a printed circuit board.

Incoming telephone service is
terminated on the 110 connector, or by patch cord to one of the seven 8P8C connectors.
To a Pre-Configured Structured Cabling Panel
Structured Cabling Panel without Clips
1.
Align board with appropriate, empty, Pre- Configured Structured Cabling Panel opening (cutout). Ensure
the screw holes on the Panel opening match the screw holes on the Expansion Board.
2.
Using the provided screws, secure the Expansion Board to the Panel at alternate corners.
Structured Cabling Panel with Clips
1.
Align Expansion Board with appropriate, empty, Pre-Configured Structured Cabling Panel opening (cutout).
2.
Insert bottom of Expansion Board into slot and push the top into the clips. The clips will click and secure
the Board into place.

Wire the 110 D4 connector according to T568A standards
(figure 2)
