before checking, cleaning or making repairs on the equipment,

if you have run against a foreign object.
Check the equipment for damage and provide for repair if necessary; only then is it
possible to switch on the equipment again and use it. If unusual vibrations occur during
operation,

check the equipment for possible damage,
-
replace or repair damaged parts,
-
check the screw connections and tighten those which have become loose, if necessary.
3) Maintenance and storage
a)
All screws, nuts and pins must be firmly tightened to ensure that the equipment is
always in safe operating condition.
b)
Perform regular checks of the waste container.
c)
For safety reasons, damaged parts must be replaced immediately.
d)
With equipment with several shaft assemblies with spikes beware of the fact that if one
shaft assembly starts moving, the others can also start moving.
e)
When adjusting the equipment, be careful that your fingers do not become caught
between the movable shaft assemblies with spikes and the fixed parts of the equipment.
f)
Always leave the equipment to cool down sufficiently before placing it in storage.
g)
When performing maintenance of the shaft assembly with spikes, beware of the fact
that even if the motor is switched off, the shaft assembly with spikes can still be moving.
h)
For safety reasons, damaged and worn parts must be replaced immediately. Use only
original spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
i)
If you want to perform maintenance or checks on the equipment, place it in storage or
replace accessories, switch off the motor, pull the plug out of the socket and wait until all
movable parts stop moving. Before you start maintenance, adjustment, etc., leave the
equipment to cool down sufficiently. Take care of the equipment and keep it clean.
j)
Place the equipment in storage out of the reach of children.
4) Residual risks
Even if the electrical equipment is operated in accordance with the aforementioned
instructions, certain residual risks cannot be eliminated completely. In relation to the
equipment design, the following risks can be present.
1.
Damage to lungs if the user does not wear a protective dust respirator.
2.
Damage to hearing if the user does not wear hearing protection.
3.
Damage to health due to vibrations if the electrical equipment is used over a prolonged
period or is not operated or maintained correctly.
WARNING
This electrical equipment creates an electromagnetic field during its operation. Such a field
can interfere with active or passive implants under certain circumstances. To reduce the
risk of serious or lethal injury, we recommend that persons with implants consult their
physician or implant manufacturer and ask whether they can use this equipment.
