Place the air conditioning unit in a dry place with a flat floor, keeping a minimum 
distance of 50 cm above the unit and from surrounding objects and walls.

After installation, make sure the power cable plug is not damaged and is firmly inserted 
into the electrical outlet. Route the power supply cable to avoid tripping over the cable 
and pulling the plug out of the socket. 

5.

 

Do not place any objects into the inlet and outlet air openings of the air conditioning 
unit. Do not cover the inlet and outlet vents and leave them unobstructed. 

6.

 

When installing drain hoses, make sure they are properly connected and that they are 
not deformed or bent sharply. 

7.

 

When installing the upper and lower air flow directing louvres, carefully insert them 
manually to avoid damage. 

8.

 

When moving, be sure the air conditioning unit is in the vertical position. 

9.

 

The air conditioning unit should be located at a safe distance from flammable 
substances such as petrol or flammable gases and stoves or other heat sources. 

10.

 

Never remove, repair or modify the air-conditioning unit alone, otherwise damage to 
the air-conditioning unit, property damage or personal injuries may occur. In case of a 
failure of the air-conditioning unit, have it repaired by the manufacturer or by an 
authorised service centre to avoid possible hazards.

Do not place or use the air conditioning unit in bathrooms or other wet areas. 

12.

 

Do not switch off the air conditioning unit by disconnecting the power cable from the 
socket. 

13.

 

Do not place beverage containers or other objects on the air conditioning unit to avoid 
penetration of spilled liquids into the unit. 

14.

 

Do not use any sprays or other flammable substances near the air conditioning unit. 

15.

 

Do not wipe or wash the air conditioning unit with chemical solvents, such as gasoline or 
alcohol. If it is necessary to clean the air conditioning unit, disconnect it from the power 
supply and clean it with a damp soft cloth. In case of larger contamination of the air 
conditioning unit, clean it with a mild cleaning agent.

If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an 
authorised service centre or a similarly qualified person to avoid the risk of injury.

The equipment installation must be carried out in accordance with the local regulations 
for the electrical connection. 

18.

 

Do not operate the air conditioning unit in wet areas, e.g. in bathrooms or laundry 
rooms. 

Transport, marking and storage of the air conditioning unit

Transport of equipment containing flammable refrigerants: 

These handling operations must be carried out in compliance with the transport regulations.

Marking of equipment with signs for using: 

According to the local regulations.
