Installation
Please be sure the power of the system is down during the installation. Insert one or two modules
into the slots on the front panel of the switch (be sure the module is aligned within the guide-rails
and that the two fasteners on the front side of the module are tightened), as shown in the
following figure.

Note: For
MDU-2100SX
1000SX Gigabit Switch Module. The transmitter of the Fiber Optic
Transceiver is on the left -hand side (the one close to the Power LED) while the receiver is on the
right-hand side (the one close to the Link LED).
