Step 1: Attach Base Plate with Endgate Bracket to Trailer
Insert the Pin Nut in the hole on the top of the Upright. Place the Overhead Rack Bar in the grooves of the Uprights
with the hole facing downwards. Using
2.5 X 5/16 Fine Thread Nuts and Bolts secure it to the Uprights.
Repeat for all 4 corners.
Step 3: Attach the Overhead Rack Bar
Remove the body side latch using a 1/2” tool.
The overhead base plates are notched to fit over the end gate latch and the notch must face downward and fit over the
end gate side latch.
Position the base plate over the end gate latch and secure with the 2” x 5/16” coarse thread nut, washers, and bolt sets
as shown in image. Place HexCap latch plates (if using HexCap accessory) on the outside of the base plate as shown in
image.
Level the Base Plate, mark the top hole on the Base Plate and drill though the U-Tube and Side Panel using a 11/32 drill
bit. Secure the Base Plate to the trailer using a 2 X 5/16 coarse thread nut, bolt and washer set.
Repeat for all four corners and check final tension on all fasteners.
Place the Uprights on the bracket as shown and secure using a 1 3/4” x 3/8” Nut,
Bolt and Washers
Repeat for all sides and tighten.
Step 2: Attach the Upright Bars
