• Check the care instructions on the labels of the

clothing article whether and at which temperatu-
re the clothing article may be ironed.

• Set the appropriate temperature setting with the

• Remove the power plug from the power socket.
• Empty the water reservoir and clean the gliding

sole

• Place the cool steam iron horizontally on a soft,

clean base.

Drip-Stop Function

In conventional steam irons, it is possible that at too
low ironing temperature water begins to trickle from
the gilding sole 

r

. However, this iron possesses a

new technical feature, namely the DRIP-STOP func-
tion, to switch off steam. The iron automatically swit-
ches off the steam ejection at low temperatures. A
“CLICK” noise is heard when this happens.
Using the temperature rotary controller

, set the

required temperature.
Steam generation will continue as soon as this 
temperature level is reached.
