The lower support is supplied separately in order to avoid damage during transport.
This lower support is easy to assemble using the instructions below.
Assembly instructions for lower support (3-seat sofa and love seat versions).
1. Lay the sofa carefully on its back on a clean smooth surface.
2. Remove the protective caps.
3. Put the lower support together and fasten in the middle using the chipboard screw
supplied. (Crosshead screwdriver is not supplied.)
4. Using 4 bolts, fasten the frame to the securing points.
(Allen key and bolts are supplied.)
During transport or use the back support(s) can become slightly misaligned. The back
support(s) can be adjusted by following the instructions below. The position of the back
support can be adjusted separately relative to the arm or back.
Note: the ends of the back support may not be subjected to more than 25 kg load.
Instructions for adjusting the back support.
1. Lay the sofa carefully on its back on a clean smooth surface.
2. Open the zip on the lower side of the frame.
3. Loosen the nut using an open-ended spanner no. 10 (not supplied).
Nut A: adjust support relative to the arm.
Nut B: adjust support relative to the back.
4. Adjust the back support by tightening or loosening the hexagonal bolt.
Loosen bolt A: the support above the arm moves outwards.
Tighten bolt A: the support above the arm moves inwards.
Loosen bolt B: the support above the back moves backwards.
Tighten bolt B: the support above the back moves forwards.
5. Secure this adjustment by retightening the nut.
6. Close the zip.
