To separate the back cover and the upper case:
1.
Insert a prying tool between the back cover and the dock upper case on the
lower-right corner of the keyboard dock. Slide it in the direction shown by arrow

to loosen the tabs and separate the two parts.

Loosen the tabs on the right and left side of the keyboard dock in the direction
shown by arrows

Insert the prying tool on the top side, slide it in the direction shown by arrow

loosen the tabs on the top side.

Separate the back cover and the dock upper case in the direction shown by
arrows

. Do not use too much force because the two parts are still connected
together by the USB board cable on the top side.
