5. Secure the memory module with the latches.
6. Reinstall all removed parts.
7. Place the computer in an upright position. Then, reconnect the ac power adapter and all disconnected
cables to the computer.
Note: If a locking device is available, use it to lock the computer.

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Appendix A “Important safety information” on page 79 and print the following
instructions.
The following illustration shows the exact location of the Wi-Fi card.
Replacement procedure
1. Remove the computer cover. See “Computer cover” on page 32.
2. Remove the front bezel. See “Front bezel” on page 33.
3. Remove the optical drive. See “Optical drive” on page 35.
4. Remove the storage drive. See “Storage drive” on page 36.
