2.
What does the indicator of Lenovo Portable Hard Drive
mean?
Answer: If the indicator is constantly on, it indicates that the
power supply is active; and if the data transmission indicator
flashes or is constantly on, it indicates that the hardware is at
the “read/write” state.
3.
When the indicator flashes, can the portable hard drive be
pulled out?
Answer: No, it can’t. This shows that the computer is
operating on the portable hard drive. Pulling it out at this time
will lead to the loss of data in the portable hard drive. The
screen might turn blue and could cause damage to the
computer.
4.
Why, after the portable hard drive is connected to the
computer, there appears a prompt showing that “the
high-speed USB device has been connected to the
non-high-speed USB hub”?
Answer: This is because the portable hard drive you are using
is of USB 2.0 specification, while your USB port is 1.1.
Basically, the speed for USB 2.0 will be reduced to that for
USB 1.1, and no other problems will appear. Please try other
USB ports. Only by using the USB 2.0 port is high-speed
transmission available.

In the Windows2000 System, when directly pulling out the
Lenovo hard drive, the message “Unsafe Removal of
Device” will appear. Why?
