in the storage pool to prevent writing to or reading from the drive. This
command line is not applicable for spare or cache drives.

5. Physically replace the failed drive.

The name of the new drive is displayed, for example:

7. Replace the failed drive with a new drive in the same storage pool.
CLI@nexenta> pool replace [-fnv] poola c1t50000393B8C83E9Cd0 <new-disk>
Example:
CLI@nexenta> pool replace [-fnv] poola c1t50000393B8C83E9Cd0 c1t5000CCA39ACF89DAd0
To optimize the performance, it is recommended that the new drive is the same size, speed, and media
type as the failed one.
8. Set the new drive in the storage pool to be
online
