3.1 Designated
use
The testing and programming unit GEL 211C is used to test the function of
MiniCODERs with SIN/COS signals and to set operating parameters, especially for
the programmable MiniCODER plus.
It can be operated separately or incorporated into an existing measuring circuit.
The testing and programming unit is only allowed to be used in the industrial and
commercial sectors. It is only allowed to be operated within the stated technical data.
Only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer should be used.
The testing and programming unit communicates via WLAN or Ethernet with a client
that has web support (mobile terminal or PC).
The WLAN version of the testing and programming unit has the following approvals:

use
The operation of the testing and programming unit is not allowed:

vapours or dusts

In environments with requirements on the degree of protection higher than those
defined for this device
●
As a fixed (installed) element in the control loop for the object measured
●
In the household area
