PRESSURE TEST GAS LINE
After all connections have been made, check all piping
connections for gas leaks. Also check existing gas
connections up to the gas valve; loosening may occur during
installation. Use a soap solution or other preferred means.
Do not use matches candles or other sources of ignition to
check for gas leaks.
WARNING
FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD
Failure to follow the safety warnings exactly could re
sult in serious injury, death or property damage.
Never test for gas leaks with an open flame. Use a
commercially available soap solution made specifi
cally for the detection of leaks to check all connec
tions. A fire or explosion may result causing property
damage, personal injury or loss of life.
NOTE - In case emergency shut down is required, turn off
the main manual shut-off valve and disconnect main power
to unit. These devices should be properly labeled by the
installer.
High Altitude Derate
Locate the high altitude conversion sticker in the unit
literature bag. Fill out the conversion sticker and affix next to
the unit nameplate.
Refer to table 1 for high altitude adjustments.
