It is the responsibility of the User to carry out all types of maintenance operations.

Only personnel previously trained and qualified may carry out maintenance operations.

Should the unit require disassembly, hand protection is required

Periodical maintenance

Air filters

Monthly at least and according to the real air quality at suction, check filter condition. Filter section can be entered through
side removable panel as well as bottom turnable panel; following the

figure 11

, in the first case, the filter frame 1 is moved

together the side panel, in the second case, it’s necessary to dismount the bottom filter frame 2 also.

For the cleaning, utilize a vacuum cleaner or wash with normal detergent and warm water, allow to dry well. Remember to
assemble the filter before operating the unit; replace a new filter after max 3 cleaning cycles. In case of soft bag filter
(option), replace it when dirty.

Fans & motors

Yearly at least, check fan and motor efficiency and their resistance-free rotation; for belt driven fan type units, also check belt
tension by adjusting the railed motor plate. Following

figure 12

, fan section can be entered through bottom removable panel

if direct driven fan or front removable panel if belt driven fan; in this last case, the dismounting of the bottom panel means
the whole dismounting of the fan-motor group also.

Water coils

Every two years at least, check that coil heat exhange surface is clean and free from dusty; this checking can be done by
dismounting filter panel (upstream) and fan-motor panel (downstream). In case that water coil shall be removed, follow the
above instructions and see

figure 13

 :

1)  remove all water connections to the units (water inlet/outlet and condensation discharge)
2)  dismount all bottom panels
3)  dismount the drain tray, by unscrewing the fixing upstream and downstream screws
4)  unscrew the fixing screws on the coil frame, move the coil to the connection-free side and extract it from the

bottom.

Electrical equipment

Yearly at least, check the fixing of all electrical connections.

BEFORE FOLLOWING ANY TYPE OF MAINTENANCE OPERATION, BE CERTAIN THAT THE UNIT MAY NOT
CASUALLY OR ACCIDENTALLY BE CONNECTED TO THE ELECTRICAL MAINS SUPPLY. THERFORE IT IS
NECESSARY TO SHUTDOWN THE UNIT’S POWER SUPPLYAD PRIOR TO MAINTENANCE.
