Overview
Figure 2-1.
UDA-683 Utility Video DA
The UDA-683 is a low-cost, utility video distribution amplifier for monitoring
and other distribution requirements where features such as differential input,
cable equalization, or clamping are not required. It can also be used for
subcarrier distribution. Despite its low-cost, frequency response and linearity
are excellent. Composite and component analog NTSC, PAL, SECAM signals,
with sync or without sync, and subcarrier signal can be distributed with
UDA683 in FR-683 and/or FR-684 series video distribution amplifier frames.
The UDA-683 provides eight outputs and delivers outstanding output density
with unmatched low-cost per output. The 100MHz bandwidth, low distortion,
excellent frequency response and wide gain range make the UDA-683 suitable
for general purpose distribution of all analog composite/component (NTSC,
PAL, and SECAM), subcarrier, and analog HDTV video signals.
The UDA-683 is a DC-coupled amplifier. It can be ordered with the optional
AC coupling, or field converted to AC coupling by the addition of input
coupling capacitors as indicated in
.
