Remote Encoding
Simplify remote encoding and maximize file quality with the PEGvault-SD™
digital video encoder. Unlike the DVD recorders many have chosen for capturing
events in remote locations, the PEGvault has the storage capacity for high-
quality, extended length, MPEG-2 media files. This means you do not have to
lower recording quality just because the meeting ran too long! The PEGvault will
capture that remote event in its entirety, recording for up to 24 hours without
stopping!
Once a recording is completed, the PEGvault-SD will forward the newly recorded
digital media file to your UltraNEXUS via the Internet!
The PEGvault produces industry-standard, widely compatible MPEG-2 digital
media files. Files created on the PEGvault are compatible with the Alliance
for Community Media (ACM) server standards and will play on popular video
servers, including the LEIGHTRONIX NEXUS
®
, UltraNEXUS™, UltraNEXUS-SDI™,
and MINI-T-NX™.
