Safety information
When using an electrical appliance, always observe
basic safety measures:
1. Use the appliance only as described in these instructions.
2. The appliance must only be charged with the charger provided.
3. The charger should only be used in conjunction with the Leifheit
window and bath vacuum cleaner.
4. Do not store or the appliance outdoors but always at room tem-
perature.
5. Always charge the appliance at room temperature and in a dry
place.
6. Do not operate the charger with moist or wet hands.
7. After charging, always separate the charger from the power out-
let and the appliance.
8. Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots or the suction
intake at the upper side of the device.

The appliance can be used by children 8 years and older and
persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or
with lack of experience or knowledge if they are supervised or
have been instructed in its use so that they can use the appli-
ance safely and understand the risks associated with it. Children
must not play with the appliance. Children must not clean or
service the appliance without supervision.
10. Repairs must only be made by authorised service technicians.
Never open the basic unit single-handedly. The individual compo-
nents of the basic unit must not be disassembled, repaired or
altered.
11. Unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing.
12. Only use the appliance to vacuum off any cleaning agents in
well-ventilated rooms. Do not inhale the exhaust air coming out
of the ventilation slots when vacuuming chemicals. When used
in shower enclosures, rinse aggressive detergents with clear
water before vacuuming.
