7.13 Checks before operation
7.13.1 Checking the function of the LED
illumination
WARNING
Failure of the illumination can be dangerous for the patient!

Keep a compatible replacement LED module ready.

Switch on the microscope using the power switch.
The LED is illuminated.

Turn the button (1) to the right.
This increases the brightness.

Test the illumination across the entire brightness range.

7.13.3 Check the fastening of the power cable

Check if the power cable is fasten to the swing arm using cable
ties (see chapter 2.4.1 in the installation manual).
