is active, the DHCP-Server can automatically assign the IP address
by DHCP when the HDS6000 starts.

is active, the previously assigned IP address is used.
DHCP Server
If the option

is active, the DHCP server (HDS6000) can assign a dynamic IP
address to the notebook.

is active, then no IP address is assigned.
