Recalculate chainage
This menu function is available for all stake/check methods except layer.
When staking or checking complex road designs it can happen that the current
position is not projected to the desired segment of the alignment. The
Recal-
culate chainage
forces a re-projection of the current position.
Before initialisation
This panel shows the projection of
the current position to the left seg-
ment, although the distance to the
right segment is shorter.
