The Rangemaster class : Small instruments with
great features
The laser technology of Geovid binoculars is
also employed in the monocular laser rangefinders of the Leica
Rangemaster class, such as the LEICA RANGEMASTER 1200 scan
and the new LEICA RANGEMASTER CRF 1200. Hunters who value a
minimum of equipment but who do not want to make any sacrifices
in performance are extremely well served with the Leica Range-
master models. The neat CRF only weighs 220 grams (less than
8 oz), including the battery ! Both Rangemaster models have a
range of up to 1,100 m /1,200 yds and they also feature a scan
mode that provides continuously updated distance readings by
simply keeping the activation button depressed. That mode is
particularly useful for observing moving game at great distances.
In addition, the Rangemasters stand out in their class for their
exceptionally bright optics, for their 7 x magnification and for the
integrated diopter compensation.
