Firmware Upgrade

Upgrading firmware 
for the GG04

Upgrading firmware can take some time. Do not interrupt the power of the 
device during firmware upgrade! Ensure that the battery is at least 75

 

% full 

before beginning the upgrade. 

GG04 firmware can only be uploaded from a Windows computer or laptop.

Step

Description

1.

Download the most recent GG04 firmware from https://myworld.leica-
geosystems.com.

2.

Download the Leica Zeno FW loader from 
https://myworld.leicageosystems.com.

3.

Connect the GG04 to your computer by Bluetooth.

4.

Use Leica Zeno Firmware Upload Tool to upgrade the latest firmware version. 
Refer to the corresponding software documentation on how to connect the 
instrument to your device and how to use Leica Zeno GIS Tools.
