Caution
Connection of an external alarm system (local and remote alarm) is absolutely necessary for preventing
damage or loss of tissue samples in the event of a malfunction.

The alarm systems for the local alarm and remote alarm are connected via a 5-pin male M16 connector
(Amphenol T3360001U as a reference for cable diameter 4-6mm).
The maximum values of the alarm system connected to the instrument must not exceed 30V DC, max.

Local alarm: socket (1)
Each alarm is connected to the plug (6) as follows:
Shared terminal: pin (1)
Normally open contact: pin (3)
Normally closed contact: pin (2)
shall be short-circuited.

Connecting the power supply
Caution
Observe the following instructions carefully to prevent damage to the instrument.
The instrument MUST be connected to a grounded power socket. The power plug must be easily
accessible so that it can be pulled out if required.
The instrument is supplied with a set of different power cords. Use only the power cable that matches the
local power supply (outlet).
Do not use an extension cable!
Caution
Check the nameplate on the rear of the instrument to ensure that the instrument delivered is designed for
the required voltage.
Severe damage may occur if the instrument is connected to a power supply voltage other than that to
which it was originally set.
