7.  SWITCHING THE AT-HOME ALARM ON  

 

Connect the power lead and switch the mains supply on, the front light will flash

 RED

/

AMBER

/

GREEN

 

f

or about 12 seconds…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

       

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

When the front light goes  

       

STEADY

 

GREEN

 the 

Alarm Unit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

       is ready for use. 

 
 
 

 

 

8.  SWITCHING THE AT-HOME ALARM OFF  

 

The At-Home Alarm uses very little power and should always be left switched ON.  
If it is necessary to switch the unit OFF follow the procedure below; 

 

1. Turn the mains supply off and wait for the unit to announce…

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

2. Press and HOLD the 

GREEN

utton until the unit “beeps” once…

 

 
 
 
 
 
 

 

3. RELEASE the 

GREEN

 

 button and the unit will announce

  

  
 
 
 
 
 
4. The 

Alarm Unit

 is now switched off. 

 

 

 

The telephone plugged into the Alarm Unit will still operate when the unit is switched off.
