Step 5: Occupancy Detection Pad
If not installing Occupancy Detection Pad, skip to Step 6.
Using the latest in capacitive sensing technology, the system detects when
an individual enters and exits the chair. The Occupancy Detection Pad
should be installed between the foam cushion layer and the fabric layer.
Once installed, connect the occupancy sensor to the 2 pin connector
labeled “1” on the side of the smart motor controller as shown in Figure 5.
