Functional Description

The Legacy 12V battery charger is for the specific purpose of charging a Legacy 12V DC battery pack that provides power for the Legacy L1380 12V
cordless grease gun. The charger is for the initial charging for the battery pack, and recharging of the battery pack as needed during the use of the
cordless grease gun. The charger has colored indicator lights to show the charging state of the battery pack during the charge cycle; green indicates the
battery pack has been properly inserted into the cavity on the charger and has made electrical contact. Once the battery pack has charged, the red light
will go out and the green light will glow, showing the battery is continuing to receive a trickle (maintenance) charge.

Assembly

Inspect battery pack cavity in charger and remove all foreign objects and dirt from cavity. Connect charger to the proper power source. Observing the
position of the alignment boss on the battery pack, carefully insert battery pack into cavity on charger. Do not force. The slot in the charger cavity must
align with the raised boss on the battery pack.
