The
SETUP
is used in conjunction with the
STATUS LIGHT
(aka tally). Each setup mode is indicated by
the colour of the Status Light.
BLUE
indicates
CAMERA ALLOCATION
mode (tally),
MAGENTA
indicates
STATUS LIGHT BRIGHTNESS
,
YELLOW
indicates
FOCUS
mode and other colours will indicate future
function setups. Quick presses of the SETUP button steps to the next setup item and LONG pushes will
select the setup item for configuration.

a.
Using the
SETUP BUTTON
There are 2 ways to set the TALLY/CAMERA NUMBER using the SETUP button. The first is by
pressing the SETUP button the number required
(GREEN MODE)
and the second is by selecting the
number required on the PREVIEW ROW of the ATEM
(RED MODE)
.
GREEN MODE
i.
SHORT press the setup button. The STATUS LED turns
BLUE
ii.
LONG press and HOLD the SETUP button until the STATUS LED turns
GREEN
iii.
SHORT press once for input 1, twice for input 2 etc (max of 20)
iv.
When the required number is reached PRESS and HOLD until the LED turns WHITE
v.
Release the button and the STATUS LED will turn
MAGENTA
(meaning it has set the
TALLY/CAMERA NUMBER from the button count and moved on to the next setup mode.
vi.
SHORT press the setup button to bypass each other setup mode until the LED indicates leaving
setup by flashing
RED
,
GREEN
,
BLUE
3 times.
RED MODE
i.
SHORT press the setup button. The STATUS LED turns
BLUE
ii.
Select the camera number you want to allocate on the
PREVIEW
ROW of the ATEM
iii.
LONG press the SETUP button until the STATUS LED turns
RED
iv.
Release the SETUP button and the STATUS LED will turn
MAGENTA
(meaning it has completed
the allocation from the PREVIEW ROW and moved on to the next setup mode.
v.
SHORT press the setup button to bypass each other setup mode until the LED indicates leaving
setup by flashing
RED
,
GREEN
,
BLUE
3 times.
vi.
When the setup mode has finished the
STATUS LED
will display
GREEN
as it now detects it is
selected on the
PREVIEW ROW
. If it is also selected on the PROGRAM row it will display
YELLOW
.
b.
Using the
TERMINAL USB
port
i.
Type
t1[ENTER]
to set the camera allocation to
input 1
ii.
Type
t2[ENTER]
to set the camera allocation to
input 2
iii.
Type
t14[ENTER]
to set the camera allocation to
input 14
etc
HOW TO VIEW THE TALLY/CAMERA NUMBER
a.
LONG press the setup button. The STATUS LED turns
WHITE
for about a second and then blinks
RED
for the camera number allocated.
b.
After it has counted the camera number it will turn WHITE for about a second and exit the setup
mode.
