To Light the Torch:
Hold the torch in your hand and, using your thumb, press and hold down the
Ignition Button
. (It may take two or three tries before the torch ignites. Each attempt
will require pulling down the
Safety Switch
, then pressing the
Ignition Button
again.)
For a Constant Flame:
Before releasing the ignition button, press the
Continuous Flame Button
with a finger or thumb of your free hand. (See
Figure 2
.)
To adjust the intensity of the flame, use the
Gas Adjustment Dial
and the
Air Adjustment Ring
(see the Glossary of Feature.)
5. To turn the torch off, press the
Ignition Button
to release the
Continuous
Flame Button
. This will cut off the gas supply and extinguish the flame.
Filling the Gas Canister
This torch uses standard butane fuel. Fill the torch in a well-ventialted room, away from any open
flame.
Turn the torch off and make sure the flame is out.
Let the torch cool at least 5 minutes before filling the cylinder.
Hold the torch upside down and insert the can's nozzle into the Gas Filling
Valve.
Press the nozzle into the valve to release the gas. Once the gas begins to seep
out around the edge of the nozzle, the torch is full and you should remove the can.
