its operation in the event of a fault results in danger to life due
to burn, electrical shock or fire.
How to detect a fault:
• the product does not work correctly (e.g. flickering of the lamp,
cannot be switched on)
• the product smokes, crackles or smells burnt
• the product overheats (discolouration, even on the adjacent
areas)
Operate the product again only after repair and testing exclusi-
vely by a trained electrician.
2. Intended Use
This lamp may:
• only be operated at a voltage of 230V ~50 Hz.
• only be connected according to protection class I (one).
• only be used according to protection rating IP44.
• not be operated by means of a dimmer.
• only be operated if mounted firmly on a robust, flat bottom.

the product does not cause any damage to children, e.g. burn by
hot surfaces, electrical shock.
If the lamp is not used in accordance with these requirements,
especially if moisture enters the lamp, it results in danger to life
due to burn, electrical shock or fire.
3. Maintenance and care

the four screws (2) and remove the cover of the connection
box (1). Loosen the strain relief (3).
3. Connect the connection cable on the building side to the lus
-
ter terminal inside the junction box (1) as shown in Figure 2.
4. Fix the connection cable with the strain relief (3) and close the
connection box (1). Tighten the screws (2) firmly by hand.
5. Mount the socket column on solid ground or with a ground
spike using the screws and dowels provided.
6. Switch the power supply on again. The installation is now
complete.
Operating the mechanical timer
(Figure 3)
The timer is set via the green switching pins (I) on the edge of
the programming wheel (one switching pin equals 15 minutes)
Programming wheel (II):
The time is set by turning the programming wheel clockwise un-
til the current time matches with the marking arrow (IV) on the
disk.
Override switch (III):
Position I: manual switch on
Position clock symbol: programmed switching on and off.
Status indicator(V):
The display indicates whether the sockets are switched on or off.
