1, RGBW colour mix mode

In this mode you can set the Slimline 9Q8 to any colour and any brightness.

Press the 

“MODE”

 button to show 

“C1”

 with two digits after it. 

The 

“C1”

 represents Red, 

“C2” 

= Green, 

“C3” =

 Blue, 

“C4” 

= White and 

“CF” 

= strobe. 

The two digits after it are the brightness 00 to 99 or in 

“CF”

 they are the strobe speed.

Examples: If you set C1, C2, C3 and C4 all to zero, your 9Q8 will have no LEDs showing (blackout).

                  If you set C1 to 99 and C2, C3 and C4 to zero your 9Q8 will be 100% Red.

2, Colour change mode

Mode button - 

Press the “

MODE”

 button until the LED display shows 

“JU00”

, then press the 

“ENTER”

 button to choose one of the colour changing modes using the 

“UP”

 and 

“DOWN”

 buttons.

1, “JU00” = RGBW (15 colours),  

2, “JF00” = Strobe, 

Now press the 

“ENTER”

 button again and you can then select the colour change speed using the 

“UP”

 and 

“DOWN”

 buttons.

3, Colour fade mode

Mode button - 

Press the 

MODE

 button until the LED display shows 

“FA00”

, then press the 

“ENTER”

 button to choose one of the colour fading modes using the 

“UP”

 and 

“DOWN”

 buttons.

1, “FA00” = RGBW (15 colours),  

2, “FF00” = Strobe, 

Now press the 

“ENTER”

 button again and you can then select the colour fade speed using the 

“UP”

 and 

“DOWN”

 buttons.

4, Auto Run mode

Mode button - 

Press the “

MODE”

 button until the LED display shows 

“AUTO”

, the unit will now run 

through it’s built-in programmes.

5, Slave mode

Link the units together using a 3-pin DMX cable, then press the 

MODE

 button to select one of the 

above modes. On the Slave units press the mode button until the LED display shows 

“SLAV”. 

The 

Slave units will then follow in sequence with the Master unit.

6, LED mode - 

Use this mode to switch the LED display On and Off

7, Sound active mode

Mode button - 

Press the “

MODE”

 button until the LED display shows 

“SU00”

, then press the 

“ENTER”

 button to set the desired sensitivity level using the 

“UP”

 and 

“DOWN”

 buttons.

The sound sensitivity levels are from 00-99 (00 = low, 99 = high)

8), DMX Addressing mode

To access the DMX address mode, press the “

MODE”

 button until the LED display shows

 “A001”, 

then press the

 “ENTER” 

button and set the first digit in the DMX address using the 

“UP”

 and 

“DOWN”

 buttons. Now repeat this step to set the second and third digits for the desired DMX 

address setting.

 

Follow the DMX channel assignment and function table overleaf.

Note: The speed settings for operation modes 2 and 3 are from 00-99 (00 = slow, 99 = fast)

          The strobe speed settings for operation modes 1, 2 and 3 are from 00-99 (00 = slow, 99 = fast)
