Required tools for assembly:

Wrench size 14mm and 10mm (twice)
1. Assembly of mounting clamp to spray boom
Fix plates to the boom
considering rowspacing
of the crop. Screw soft
to avoid deformation of
the plates.
If length of the screws is
not sufficient use a
thread bar (best in
stainless steel to avoid
corrosion - not included
in the delivery).
Greasing the screws
eases assembly and
disassembly.
Take care to assemble
in a way that avoids any
collision when boom is
folded.
ATTENTION:
For increased stability
please mount the was-
her between cotter pin
and adapter.

2. Assembly of Dropleg

Connect Dropleg
UL
with
mounting clamp, put
washer on the belt and
secure with cotter pin.
Position nozzle body to
the rear of direction of
sprayer (see figure
besides).
Otherwise you may
cause damage to the
Dropleg
UL
and the
boom.
3. Connect the Dropleg
UL
to the liquid
system of the boom
Use connection hose to
fit with nozzle body.
First connect bayonett
cap with gasket to the
nozzle body. Then
unscrew blue nut of
Dropleg
UL
adapter, put it
on the hose, fit hose
onto the connector and
rescrew the nut
(14 mm AF).
ATTENTION:
Do not
overtorque the hose -
see picture.
4. Folding the boom
When folding or unfol-
ding the boom Dropleg-
s
UL
should fold freely.
Especially when unfol-
ding the boom take care
that the
Droplegs
UL
do not get
caught up.
If necessary fit moun-
ting clamps alternating
on boom segments.
Avoid the connection
hose being bent. If re-
quired shorten the hose.
5. Road
transportation
During transit take care
that Droplegs
UL
do not
touch the ground. In
case boom is too low tie
Droplegs
UL
up or
disassemble. If possible
lock boom in a higher
transport position.
Take care of the regio-
nal regulations accor-
ding transportation.
6. Use in the field
Droplegs
UL
should be
positioned in a way that
they can move freely
during spraying bet-
ween the rows.
Take care not to hit the
ground with the boom
during operation in
order to avoid damage.
Droplegs
UL
can move
backwards when tou-
ching ground. We re-
commend a
minimum clearence of
80 cm between boom
and ground.
