CHAPTER 2. HOW TO OPERATE THE APPLIANCE
Thermostat Setting
Larders (coolers) have not any freezer compartment but can cool below 5°C.
• The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the refrigerator
compartment. Temperature settings are 1 to 5 - with 5 being the coldest.
• The “ 0 “ position shows thermostat is closed and the appliance is switched off.
• For short-term storage of food in the refrigerator compartment, you can set the knob
between minimum and medium position. (1-3)
• For long-term storage of food in the refrigerator compartment, you can set the knob to
the medium-high position. (3-4)
•
Note that; the ambient temperature, the temperature of freshly stored food and how
often the door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator compartment.
If required, adjust the temperature setting accordingly.
• When you
rst switch on the appliance, allow it to run 24 hours without any food inside.
If this is not possible, avoid over loading the appliance as much as possible.
• If the unit is switched off or unplugged, or there is a power cut you must allow at least 5
minutes before restarting in order not to damage the compressor.
