Getting Started
To turn on Twinkle Twinkle Little Scout or Violet, press any of the buttons on the puppy’s collar.
To turn the puppy off, press the On/Off button.
To adjust the volume or turn off Twinkle Twinkle Little Scout or Violet, open the VELCRO® fastening
on the bottom of the puppy to view the battery box and slide the Off/Low/High switch.
Note:
Twinkle Twinkle Little Scout or Violet will turn off automatically after a period of inactivity.
You can wake the puppy up again by pressing a button on the collar.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Scout or Violet has three active buttons.
Music & Rhymes button
Press to hear counting rhymes, lullabies about the senses and nature sounds. Your puppy friend will
ask questions designed to encourage older children to fi nd different facial features, comment on
environmental sounds and participate in imaginative play.
Sleep Time button
Press the button until you hear your preference: 10 or 20 minutes of either lullaby music or soothing
environmental sounds to transition from daytime to nap time or nighttime.
On/Off button
Press the On/Off button to turn off Twinkle Twinkle Little Scout or Violet. Press any button to resume play mode.

Instructions for Care
FOR DRY, INDOOR-LOCATION USE ONLY. Keep food and beverages away from product. Never spill liquid of any kind
on this product as it may cause damage or render the product inoperative. Clean with a slightly damp cloth (cold
water). Do not use soap or detergent. Never submerge the product in water. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme
temperatures and direct sunlight. Avoid dropping the product. Never try to dismantle it.
Blanket detaches for washing (hand wash and air dry only). Puppy is not washable
(clean with a damp cloth only).

Battery Information
Batteries included are for in-store demonstration and should be replaced for home use. Requires 2 AAA (called
LR03 in some countries) alkaline batteries.
Battery Removal and Installation Instructions
1. Open the battery door with a Phillips screwdriver.
2. If used or spent batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of
each
battery.
3. Install new batteries as shown in the polarity (+/-) diagram inside the battery compartment.
4. Replace battery door securely.

Batteries are small objects and may pose a choking hazard for small children. Batteries must be replaced by an
adult. Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment. Promptly remove dead batteries from the toy
to avoid leaking. Dispose of used batteries properly. Remove batteries for prolonged storage. Only batteries of the
same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

Environmental Phenomena
