Building a Read-Aloud Experience
Reading a book aloud is a key moment in a child’s learning development.
The included DVD and books are meant to work together to help build a
read-aloud experience.
The 12 SING-ALONG READ-ALONG™ videos and books empower
beginning readers to discover story meaning as they make connections
between the words they learn and the stories they see.
Getting Started
The DVD is meant to be viewed first. The DVD brings the 12 stories to life
through lively animation and songs. The songs feature rhythm, rhyme and
repetition, which can help children learn the words in the corresponding
storybooks and can motivate them to read the books aloud.
DVD Play
• Insert the included DVD into your DVD player.
• The main menu screen will appear, allowing you to navigate through
the 12 music videos.
• Each story begins with a fun skit that introduces basic vocabulary
and vowel sounds. These skits are meant to highlight the curriculum
featured in each story.
Book Play
The books are meant to be read after viewing the DVD. This helps
children get comfortable with the words, increasing their motivation to
read the books aloud.

Packaging contains audio circuit with batteries. Dispose of used batteries properly. DO NOT incinerate used
batteries. DO NOT dispose of batteries in a fire, as batteries may explode or leak.
PARENTAL CAUTION:
Routinely check this product for proper and safe condition. If it is damaged or has
broken parts, remove product from use. The packaging includes a “Try Me” function on the front of the box
that is used to play a sample of music from the included DVD. If it is damaged or has broken parts, discard
the packaging and the “Try Me” button assembly.
