5.6.
Fixing points
The Salamander has fixing points on the front and rear. These can be used to install the Salamander
in an enclosure, attach rack ears for recess into a stage, as fixing points for safety chains, or any
similar application that requires attachments to the Salamander’s chassis.
These fixing points are M6 rivet bushes fixed to the Salamander chassis. On the rear of the unit, they
will be supplied fitted with M6x16 bolts. On the front, they are used to secure the handle to the unit.
The handle can be removed, and the fixing points can be used for other purposes.
Fixing point spacings are as follows:
Front: 93.5mm
Rear: 46.75mm
5.7.
Shutdown
Each of the following steps disables the machine. The order presented is for a recommended
normal shutdown procedure. In case of an emergency always perform the easiest, safest and
quickest step available first.
1.
Disarm via the control system – set HSI DMX channel (and fire channel) value to 0.
2.
Cut the power to the machine.
3.
Switch the power switch to the OFF position.
