AIR SUPPLY:
Tools of this class operate on a wide range of pressures. It is recommended that the dynamic air
pressure be maintained at 90P.S.I., higher pressure raises the performance of the tool, which will also
shorten tool life and could cause injury.
The airline should be clean and dry. Dust, corrosive fumes, and/or water in the line will cause damage
to the tool.
The air inlet, used for connecting the air supply has a standard of 1/4” NPT thread. Line pressure
should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hoses(over 25 feet). Hose diameter should
be 3/8” and fittings should have the same inside dimensions and be tightly secured.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Set the air pressure to 90 PSI and blow out the air line to remove any dirt or moisture, attach the
reciprocating saw blade/air saw blade by loosening both screws on the chuck guide and tightening it
when the blade is safely secured, followed by connecting the air supply hose to the tool and start
cutting with both hands on the tool while applying force to the throttle lever.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1. Always wear approved eye and respiratory protection.
2. Have the throttle in “off” position when connecting to the air supply.
3. Disconnect tool before performing service, changing accessories, or when not in use.
4. Always be in a safe working distance from others when using tools.
5. Keep tools clean and oiled for the best and safest performance.
6. Follow instructions for operating the tool.
7. Always use proper hose and fittings, and properly rated accessories for the tool.
8. Keep proper footing and balance.
9. Never carry tools by the hose. Keep hoses from heat, oil, and sharp edges. Check hoses for weak or
worn conditions before each use, certain that the connections are secure.
