Network Switch Configuration
First Steps
First Steps
The first steps are to establish a connection between the network switch and your computer, and download and
install the latest switch software.
To do this, you will need to know the IP address of the network switch. If the IP address is unknown, or the switch
has been used for a previous application, then you should reset the switch to its factory default settings and begin
a new configuration from scratch. For the purposes of this illustration, we will assume that the switch IP settings
are as follows:
