element is a simple logical gate for inverting a control signal:

You can create a logical function whose result will always equal logical “1” by creating a
NOT
logic element
with no input. The result of this will always be true, and therefore can be applied to parameters which need
to be forced to true (logical “1”) as a default.
General Parameters
