7. Do not leave the device unattended when it is connected to the mains. Disconnect
it from the mains after use and before cleaning.
8. Use the product in accordance with this guide.
9. Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water or became flooded. Immediately
disconnect it from the mains.

Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid while using or
cleaning it.
11. Do not carry the device by or pull on its power cord. Do not hold the device by its
power cord, be careful not to squeeze the cord in doors and do not pull the cord
over sharp edges. Keep the cord away from hot objects.
12. Do not disconnect the device from the mains by pulling the cord: instead, grasp
and pull the plug.
13. Do not touch the device or its power cord plug with wet hands.
14. CAUTION!
The device heats up during operation. Do not touch the ceramic-
coated heating plates, as you could get burned.
15. WARNING!
If you use the product in a bathroom, disconnect it from the mains
immediately after use. Any exposure to water poses a hazard even if the device
is off.
16. If the device is hot, place it on a heat-resistant surface. Do not cover it with
anything (towel, piece of clothing etc.).
17. Do not attempt to open the body or disassemble any part of the device. The
product does not contain any user-serviceable parts.

Do not apply the product to artificial hair.
19. Keep this guide and, if possible, the packaging.
20. Do not use any hair spray near the device when it is connected to the mains.
Turn off and disconnect the device first.
