PREPARATION FOR CAPPUCCINO AND
LATTE MACCHIATO
When using for the first time, carry out a
cleaning cycle on the milk frothing jug:
• Open the milk frothing jug and fill it with
water up to the “latte macchiato” mark.
Close the jug and position it on the machine;
• Press the ‘‘latte macchiato” key to start the
cleaning cycle;
• After cleaning remove the jug from the
machine, empty it then rinse and dry all
componets.

To set the machine to prepare cappuccino or latte
macchiato, insert the milk frothing jug.
When the milk frothing jug is correctly posi-
tioned, the machine emits a beep.
Only
these keys light up automatically:
Delivering cappuccino
Delivering latte macchiato
The other keys do not work.
When the machine is preparing the milk the low
water level sensor does not work. Make sure there
is water in the tank before starting to prepare
cappuccino or latte macchiato.

When set to make cappuccino or latte macchiato,
the milk or coffee measure cannot be programmed.

The milk frothing jug has two level marks:
• latte macchiato level
• cappuccino level
Only use cold milk at fridge temperature (4-8°C)
(39,2-46,4°F). Do not use milk at room temperature.
Using soya milk doesn’t ensure perfect results.
Pour the exact measure of milk as indicated on
the jug. Do not use too much or too little.
Both cases will cause hot milk to leak from the
container.
ENERGY SAVING
After about 30 minutes of inactivity the machine
will switch to power saving mode and the
on/stand-by light will go out. The machine can be
manually switched to stand-by before the 30 min-
ute default time, by means of the specific key .
