SAFETY

GENERAL

(1) Accompanying by the adult, children need guardianship. 
Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or 
near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operat-
ing and unattended.

(2) If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the 
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in 
order to avoid a hazard.

(3)This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry 
areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it 
may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

(4) Do not use outdoors.

(5) This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let 
bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when 
moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furni-
ture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 2 M.

(6) The appliance shall warn about the possible danger of 
installation close to curtains and other combustible materials. 

(7) The heater must be installed at least 1,8 m above the floor. 

Continually exposure to high intensity infrared radiation at 
closely proximity could be harmful to eyes or skin. Although 
infrared quarz heating tube are not emitting ultra violet electro-
magnetic radiation, harmful burns could still result if an opera-
tor is in close contact with heating tube being operated at high 
intensity. 

Because of the brilliant light emitted by the Torano’s tube at full  
intensity, is recommended that the eyes be shielded  from the 
glare if observing the heating tube or radiant that chamber  for 
an extended period of time. Use suitable shaded lenses  or dark 
glasses.
