INSTALLATION & AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Caution: Before drilling check for hidden power cables and pipes. Take care using power
tools, especially near water. The use of a residual current device (RCD) is recommended.
Remove the packaging taking special care with the door and glass shelves.
1) The glass shelves must be installed before the door. Insert the shelf lugs into the desired
holes in the carcass and slot the shelves into the lugs, starting with the top shelf . (see fig 1)
Tighten the lugs from underneath with a crosshead screwdriver. (see fig 2).
2) Depending on the intended location of the unit, you have the option of choosing whether
you want a left or right hand opening door. Choose the desired handing and fix both hinges
to the door as shown and to the carcass at points (C) and (D) (see fig 3). Do not
completely tighten at this stage. You can then make the following adjustments as needed:
Up / Down adjustment: Loosen screws (C) and (D) to adjust the vertical position of door.
Re-tighten once desired position is achieved.
Forward / Backward Adjustment: Loosen screw (A) and adjust the hinge left or right in the
carcass. Retighten screw (A) once the door is in the desired position.
Left / Right Adjustment : Loosen or tighten screw (B) to adjust the door position left or right.
4) In the desired location in the bathroom mark of the holes for the mounting plates. Using a
spirit level mark off a horizontal line approximately 50mm below where the top of the
cabinet is to be. Position the plate hole centres so that they are centred on the line and
ensure the ends of the plates are spaced to the width between the inner edges of the back
side of the cabinet (see fig 4). Mark off the holes using a pencil.
5) Drill the required holes and insert the wall plugs. Note: Wall plugs supplied are suitable
only for solid stone/brick walls. For plasterboard walls use specialist wall plugs, available from
DIY or hardware stores. Seek advice from a specialist about the suitability of fixings to be
used.
6) Screw the wall plates to the wall using the screws provided, please ensure the screws are
fully tight but take care not to overtighten. Two screws must be used in each plate (see fig 5).
7) Now hang the cabinet on the mounting plates, the claws on the cabinet brackets must be
securely located on the plates. Remove the plastic screw cover caps from the internal back
face of the cabinet . Using a spirit level adjust the angle of the cabinet by turning the bottom
screw with a cross head screwdriver. When the angle is properly adjusted it is necessary to
secure the cabinet to the wall by tightening the top screw, the cabinet should not be left
unattended until it is fully secure. Replace the plastic screw cover caps.
