How to set Origin
1.Turn unit
On
while holding down
two
Red Control Panel Buttons

2.The display will eventually say "
Run Test Pattern"
press the
Right Arrow
once.
3.The display will now say "
Set Origin"
press
Enter
4. Press
Auto Focus
5. Press the
Arrow
keys to position the
Red Diode
beam in the corner of the rulers as
accurately as you can. Write down the
X
and
Y
values displayed on the control
panel display on a piece of paper.
6. Press
Enter
7. Turn Off Laser wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.
8. Set up a job with a small vector rectangle so that the top left corner is .5" from left,
and .5" from top. Run the job.
9. Measure your results. The left and top edge of the rectangle should be .5" from the
material edge.
10. If not repeat step 1-9. However this time rather the watching the
Red Diode
add or
subtract your actual error in location from the
X
and, or
Y
values from
Step 5
.
Press the
Arrows
to move it to display the corrected numeric
X
and
Y
location.
11. Repeat until you have the desired origin set. Keep the correct numbers written
down below for future need. If Origin needs to be set again in the future you can
use these numbers rather than using the Red Diode method as above.

To align the Red Beam adjust the prism mount for mirror 0 so that the red dot hits the burn mark
on the tape on the bottom of the air assist nozzle from your final test of mirror 1’s adjustment.
