b) BOTTOM CLOSER

;

Close and latch the
door.  Assemble the
bottom closer (the
closer with the Touch’n
Hold button), door bracket and long pin
together with the arrow on the door bracket,
per Fig.5, pointing toward the hinge side of the
door.  Attach to the bottom jamb bracket using
the short pin and

short yellow plastic spacer

clip

, per Fig.6.

(NOTE: Short yellow plastic

spacer clip must be used to ensure proper
operation and function).

Hold the assembly

level and mark the front mounting hole location
of the door bracket.  Drill 1/8” starter hole.

Caution: Do not drill through the outside of the door.

Attach the door bracket using a #10 x 5/8” screw.  Remove the long pin, short

pin, closer and yellow plastic clip.  Discard the yellow clip.  Drill 1/8” starter hole through the exposed hole in the door bracket and fasten
using #10 x 5/8” screw.  Reattach the closer using the long pin, with o-ring to hold in place, and short pin.

Note:  If you need to adjust the horizontal positioning do not drill additional holes.

There are four additional adjusting positions. This will affect the closing force as the door closes through the last 12 inches of operation.
This can be done by reversing the arrow direction on the door brackets and changing the hole that is used on the closer.
