WIRING
/PLUG
Standard pigtail(flying leads) wiring
We strongly encourage a licensed electrician install this product
, in all locations especially in outdoor areas
where weatherproofing may be required. Universal voltage driver permits operation at
9-46 V DC.
Warning:
Check product label for correct input voltage!
Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture wires as shown
in the diagram
Secure each pair of wires according to the diagram. Utilize a junction box or
similar device and take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all
connections if installed in a location where water may come in contact with the
unit. Ensure the unit is properly grounded and that wiring is done according to
all local and national electrical/building codes.
Standard Cord Cap
This unit comes pre-wired from factory with the selected cord cap. Take
precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if installed in a
location where water may come in contact with the unit. All outdoor
installations and indoor installations near a wet location require the use of a
GFCI device for safety, according to the National Electrical Code® (NEC).
Ensure the unit is properly grounded.
Low Voltage DC
Connect power to power supply outputting low voltage between 9-4

Volts DC.
This variable voltage allows greater versatility without affecting light output. Ensure
deutsch connectors are properly connected (If applicable)
DETACHABLE CORDS

Cord is attached via a weatherproof 2-pin Deutsch connector.

The cord is detachable by depressing the tab on the top of the connectors. This enables the
operator to remove and store the light while leaving the cord connected to the power source.

MOUNTING
This particular unit is equipped with an adjustable aluminum tripod that can reach heights up to 10 feet and be lowered to
3.5 feet for applications where a lower height is required or for storage and transportation. The heavy duty aluminum tripod
is durable, lightweight and adjustable to any length between 3.5 feet and 10 feet. A single mounting bracket holds the dual
LED light heads and allows them to be adjusted and aimed horizontally and vertically. This adjustability allows users to
expand the area covered or to focus more intense coverage on a smaller area. The tripod legs can be collapsed and the
light head bracket removed with the light still on it for simple portability and deployment. The heavy duty construction of this
tripod and the light weight of the LED fixture results in a portable yet very stable lighting platform that will hold its position,
even in very windy conditions.
This unit come with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin
Deutsch connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the spotlight. Other cords, including
21 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 16 foot cord with spring battery clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 16 foot
straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available.
