M
ake sure the
fuel petcock
is in the ON position.
For cold start, you'll also
want to make sure the
yellow
choke lever is moved into the choke position.
•
Pull the ripcord to start the generator. Allow the generator to run
for a couple of minutes to allow revs and voltage to stabilize
before connecting anything to it.
NOTE:
If the engine fails to keep running, try pulling the starter
cord one more time.
•
Once generator is warmed up and revs have stabilized, you may
connect the lights to the receptacle on the generator.
Light head is
fitted with a twist lock plug that must be turned in the receptacle to
secure it.
•
To turn the generator off, flip the STOP/RUN switch to the STOP position.
Maintenance
•
Check the oil regularly, as shown above, to verify there is enough in the engine
before running.
•
Check the air filter regularly and replace as necessary. Air filter is located in the
black casing at one end of the generator, as shown in the picture to the right.
