The Larson Electronics WAL-ML-2XM-3G Mini Light Tower with 3000VA Generator from Larson Electronics is an ideal
solution for operators who need a fully portable yet easy to operate light system capable of illuminating large areas.
Adjustable from 7 to 12 feet in height and equipped with a 3000VA generator and two 1000 watt metal halide lamps, this
unit will provide over 200,000 lumens of illumination for up to 6 hours on a single tank of fuel.
Uncrating
Unpack your new generator operated light tower by removing the plastic and cardboard that
surrounds the crate. Once the covers are removed, the crate will need to be disassembled so
you can remove the cart, head and mast (you will need a #2 square head drill bit and a drill to
do this). Once you have removed the wood framing you will be able to remove the generator
cart, light head, and mast.
Installing Light Mast

1.
First, remove light head from
shipping mast
by loosening T-handle screw and lifting it off.
2.
Remove
shipping mast
by removing the hardware holding it in place at the base.
3.
Install light head onto top of
light
mast by slipping it over the top, and tightening the T-
handle screw to secure.
4.
Place light mast in same location the
shipping mast
was removed from, with the winch
facing away from the generator. Secure using the hardware removed in step 2.
5.
Mast is now assembled and ready for use.

THIS UNIT IS HEAVY AND MAY REQUIRE 2 OR MORE PEOPLE TO UNPACK
AND ASSEMBLE

See video below. Make note of shipping mast mounting method. Install light mast in the same
manner. All you need to do is remove the shipping mast and install the light mast on the generator base. Get someone’s
assistance to help lift the mast to install it on the generator base. Be sure that the bottom hole on the lower part of the
mast lines up with the hole in the mounting plate on the generator base. Once lined up install the provided bolt, washers,
nuts and pin removed from the shipping mast.
NOTE: FOLLOW VIDEO ACCORDINGLY. SEE REVISED MOUNTING METHOD FOR MAST BELOW. A PIN IS
INSTALLED ON
TOP OF BRACKET AND
IN FRONT OF MAST.
