Mounting the Plate
1.
Begin by removing the
rear spoiler from the truck. This
involves removing the headliner. Consult manufacturer
information for further instruction on this process, or
consult a dealer or shop to install for you.
2.
Carefully remove the
4 screws holding the taillight
assembly in the spoiler using a Torx head driver.
3.
Unplug the wire harness to
disconnect
taillight from
spoiler
4.
Depress the side of the plastic clips holding the taillight
assembly in the spoiler and push them through to free
the taillight from the spoiler.
5.
Inspect the gasket(s) of the mounting plate to ensure
surface is free of any defects or foreign material
, then
line the plate up with the steps and mounting holes in
the spoiler.
